Anyone have two cents to contribute, here? …REALLY!? Sorry to break it to you kids, but you won’t be coddled like that in the real world. Woe unto any arachnophobes who get jobs in retail (especially electronics). Why? Well, this is called a spider wrap: It is opened with a spider key. And it has a picture of a spider on it. And I don’t think the ADA recognizes your “spider trigger” as valid, so they don’t have to accommodate you, either. It’s all well and good for your, say, friends and family to try to be accommodating when it comes to things that make you uncomfortable, but you can’t expect the whole world to do it. You’ve got to get used to it. There are days where I just want the world to burn. And to think… this is the field of work that I’m going into…
